Last Saturday Work day

I am Beginning to realize I should have taken a before picture of our laundry room. But then again, that would have been a picture I wouldn't have wanted anyone to see. It was a disorganized mess. Stuff that had no place to go, and laundry that needed folding. Well, while Jody worked on his car, the girls and I worked on the "Creative Room" as the like to call it. They already had their table and a couple easels in there, but the side here with my desk now was just a cluttered mess. Now, I have all my scrap booking stuff in here, and we can all create together. So nice to have it organized and accessible. This gives us more closet space upstairs where more of our school supplies can be. Hopefully this will help with some of the clutter and mess.
Mommy's area

I made and installed the shelf above my desk to have more room.

The girls' creative table with supplies in the corner.

Love these recycling bins from IKEA! such an easy place to put paper and have it take up so little room!

The easels are now closer to their work area and lots of fun. The big one is from IKEA and has two sides, one with a white board and holds a roll of paper so the girls can also paint. It is hard to tell but we also have clothes pins attached to the walls so they can hang their paintings up to dry. Hence the paint on the wall. We need to wash them again, but we have been using it all week now that it is an enjoyable place to be. Amazed that such an unused area in our house before has become so used now. It makes school art projects and play-doh, moon sand etc. a much more frequent thing.
